Sounds to me like you need to buy a HDMI switcher.

If I'm not mistaken, your monitor has 3 forms of inputs, DVI/HDMI/VGA? Do as I did for my gaming station. Ps3 is hooked up via Hdmi, PC via Dvi, and Xbox is Vga. All audio through desktop speakers or TB headset. Done.

He brings up a good point. If you can, then run it that way.
Same way I had mine when I had my PS3.

HDMI port was for the PS3
DVI port was for my PC.

If you end up adding more, then a switcher from MonoPrice will do.
