I'd feel safe up to 1.4VCore. You're fine.

Heat is what shortens life the most IMO. Overclocking in general is going to shorten hardware lifespan. Kind of like driving your car full throttle all the time.

Thanks, I'll make sure to keep an eye on my temps... The tj max for this chip is 100C and and with Prime95 the max temperature is 55C and with Intel Burn Test and LinX the absolute maximum is 65C with my core voltage at 1.392 according to CPUz. So I just need to sort out a few more bugs then I'll post my settings.
