No , you talk rubbish fanboy .. the only superior card nvidia has over ati is the gtx580 and thats $300 more than a 6950 and $250 more than a 6970 ... you tell me which is better price / performance ratio ? 69XX eats alive anything nvidia has to offer besides the gtx580 , go figure with a $700 price tag similar to the 5970 =) and guess what ? 5970 ****s all over it in every benchmark i have seen so now you tell me ? 6990 is coming soon , same as the gtx590 .. they both will kick ass but ati's offering will be half the price of nvidias

Yeah but when you factor in price there is no reason to go nividia, same a intel and amd.

Nividia fast overpriced same as intel, they are the fastest but not worth the cost

If you read benchmarks , you would know the 5970 is decently faster than a 580 so how does nvidia have superior gfx cards and its cheaper !! LOL @ nvidia .. If their prices werent to high id probably have on but ati's competition is too good right now for less $$ u get the same as nvidia offers .. only the noobs go and pay the extra cash for an nvidia logo .

for a single 24" 1920x1200...you can't go wrong w/ either card

you can get away w/ 6850's in CF or a single 6950 (unlock) and get the most bang for your buck

Yes, the 5970 ****s all over the 580 in every benchmark that you have seen. Well maybe you should look around a bit more, like maybe here. The 580 wins in about 2/3rds of all the benchmarks in that review and if it doesn't, it comes pretty damn close to the 5970 for only being a single gpu. Also, judging by your tone, i would cool it on calling other people fanboys.

Ati has clearly taken over the market , took nvidia this long to release a card that competes with the 5970 and they have the nerve to put a $700+ price tag HAHAHAAA who the hell is going to pay that much for a gfx card ? maybe 1 out of 20 people .

580 costs more around $500.

HD 5970 has 2 GPUs and stability issues. GTX 580 has 1 GPU and no stability issues.

You should tone it down.
