How does the reservoir work?

Thread Starter
Getting an EK Multioption Basic 250 X2 reservoir and I just have a simple question for some of you probably.

It's going to be mounted vertically. How does it work? Do you run a tube from the top of it or is the top strictly for filling purposes (and you plug the top up after you fill) and you run the in/out from the bottom?

I've never used one, but if there is a port on the bottom, then it looks like you would go in from the bottom and out from the side/bottom and use the top to refill. I believe it wouldnt matter either way you did it, just personal preference. And Filling from the top would probably be the easiest.

the inlet and outlet are on the bottom, if you try to use the top port for inlet, it causes a ton of bubbles.

If you want to use the top inlet you should get the Multioption Advanced, it has a tube running down the middle that prevents the bubbling that thashert was talking about.
