Funny. CPU-Z shows that these ram sticks are PC3-8500F, rated to run at 1066, despite being advertised as 1600 speed. I can't keep them stable at 1600 no matter what voltage or loose timings. AM3 isn't rated to 1600 anyway, so no biggie. I was playing around with my reference clock, and oddly enough I can keep the obsidians stable at 1466 7-7-7-21, though with 1.71v.

x2 550 is a C2 revision; you may need to add voltage to hit 1600Mhz. OCZ usually rates the SPD timings to 1066Mhz without using any Intel XMP (Xtreme Memory Profile) or EPP (Enhanced Performance Profile) and just rating the RAM on the box; on AMD you would most likely end up setting manually regardless anyway.
