Watercool HEATKILLER® GPU-X² 6850LT

Thread Starter
Hi Peepz,

In my search of waterblocks for my 6950's, i was really interested about this waterblock.

Can someone help me out, i was wondering if this block would fit on a 6950 ?

It seems that the gpu & ram are cooled by the block. I will eventually cool the vrm passively.

in attachement a picture a 6850, 6950 & 6970 pcbs..

Thanks,
Black Sandy 2012

did you end up buying it? Wow no one helped you this blows man well my advice to you or anyone wanting to buy coolers for their card send an email to the manufacture of the model of your card and they would know what would fit for sure and if they screw up they can alway replace it for you. That what I did with an EK block got one for a reference design and my card was non. though they told me it would fit i was mad as hell when it didnt. So i complaint and they politely offered a full refund including shipping. but decided against it and made a mod to the block and well it works now LOL. Had to cut it like extreme systems http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=245656

does the job you know. well hope i helped in some way and let me know what you bought

oh man that blows. I seen some people rigging up some mosfet water blocks on the vrm and holding it down via creativity.

so you have the water block cool the gpu and ram then anotehr cooler for the vrm's

In either case creativity is the answer when nothing seems to works make it work.

Thats what i did with my non reference 4890 card lol and it came out good.
