Well, just a quick glance at eBay shows motherboards anywhere from about $30 to $90. There are a few different versions as well, so research what you have if you decide to go that route.

Yeah, I checked as well. I've gotta decide at which point the money that it'll cost to fix it will be better served towards a replacement. For what I paid for my netbook years ago when I got it ($420 at my door) I could find a decent 13" or 15" laptop now that's probably more powerful.

Thanks for the continued help.

Do you have any idea what could be dead? From the info I gave? It would seem to me it's mobo-related. If it could boot it would, and I don't think it's a display issue because it was configured to output to my monitor when it was shut down so that should've been solved.

EDIT: Just checked (I've got the ZG5) it looks like I'm paying at least $80 for a new mobo. Lame.
