its only 200~ euro's here, and the IceQ 5770 = 145~ euros

the main reason i chose the IceQ 5770 is cuz its UV reactive =P
& I love it when a GPU is UV reactive hehe

I didnt say anything about a keyboard or mouse..........
All I m saying is this, I love my 5770, having said that I should add... it aint that great a card. And if you want to play the latest games in 1080p, 5770 is definitely not the way to go. Look at me, I dont have the option to upgrade right now, but you have, then why would you go for a card which was mid-range even six-eight months ago. A lot has changed since then. Prices have dropped, performance has increased. A bunch of new games are about to be released and 5770 is not suited for them (unless you wanna play at 1024x768). Now, its upto you. I myself am gonna grab a gtx460/560 as soon as I can arrange the money.

PS: sorry, just noticed that i had mistakenly written "mouse" while tryin to write "gpu"....... havent slept for 36 hours and thats takin its toll on me now

Ya i totally understand ya mate, im sorry for the confusing part about the keyboard mouse etc

uhhmm

well im really hesitating
I've always used Nvidia, i rlly want to check ATI's GPU's

I heard they are well priced & have similar performances compared to the more expensive nvidia cards

And I think a AMD CPU goes best with a AMD GPU

but i don't know if it would matter if I had a AMD CPU & Nvidia GPU

So should I go for the XFX 6870 Black Edition?
or the Nvidia GTX460?

Ok, now this is the most interesting part about upgrades, researching. HD 6870 (specially the xfx one) is more powerful than gtx460...... but is less (quite a bit actually) powerfull than the GTX560. I dont know about their current prices so please check that out. Forget the 460. Pick either 6870 or the 560. Both are very powerful cards.

600W may be enough for you now but considering future upgrades and device safety and oc headroom, try to pick up a corsair 750/850w or similar xfx psu. Both are made by seasonic so no question about quality.

now that is really interesting,

i've just saw something that is EVEN MORE interesting

Lately i've been checking reviews etc @ youtube
& i mostly watch LinusTechTips which i like ALOT =]

Now I want you to look @ this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotat...xw8&feature=iv

It basicly compares a Overclocked Nvidia GTX460 HAWK edition
with a stock reference GTX480

& They almost hit the same performance results
Allthough he can overclock the GTX460 more cuz he runs his GPU fan @ only 45~ %

So i think i'll go with the GTX460 Hawk which is ALOT cheaper than the 560ti & the 480.. & slightly cheaper as the HD6870 black edition

& i'll step back to 600~700W PSU instead of a 850..
I think thats better for my budget ;p

Then buy everything except the gpu now. When you have access to that money, buy a gtx560. Trust me, you would need that with a 22" monitor. I have almost the same setup as you are going to buy. I am gonna change my gpu as soon as I can.
screen size has absolutely nothing to do with the GPU's ability to run it. it is resolution, not screen size.

hmm, didnt add it because most of the 22/24" monitors are native 1080p, should have added though.

yea but size has nothing to do with anything.

My video card could run a 1000" screen. Because that screen could range from 200 x 200 to 5000 x 5000. You don't know, and you can't assume when it comes to something like that. That is like saying most am3 chips are using DDR3, but not all of them are. My chip is running ddr2.
