Go for 800D. The logitech z-5500 is not that good. I think a good headset is always better. But if you absolutely want speakers, a 2.1 is enough for gaming or whatever you could do on your pc.

For 2.1, those are awesome, sound is way more better than any logitech speaker.:

http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=57799&vpn=CA-SP211NA&manufacture=Corsair

http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=10869&vpn=PROMEDIA2.1&manufacture=Klipsch

For 5.1, these are incredible...

http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=46897&vpn=S550&manufacture=EDIFIER

Theses 3 brands are very good. better than logitech on every points. BUT, speakers are the last thing to brought for a gaming setup, take the 800D before, WC the GPU and after, get some speakers.

Getting the 800D now.

Hello Newegg. Man it's going to cost me like $300 for a case!

I'm seeing some serious bad advice lol. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO FOR THE 800D, UNLESS YOU WANT A CASE WITH ALMOST NO AIR FLOW.

800D: all watercooling (even though the HAF-X can do it just as well)
HAF-X: has anything you could want (I understand I have that case and you could just consider me biased but the glass is also half full, because I'm supporting something I use)

With the HAF-X you can do WHATEVER you want, i have a 240mm on top for my cpu which could EASILY be a 360 (a 480 wouldn't be a problem either if you don't need the usb 3.0 headers) , (but having 2 200mm exhaust fans, and getting top notch air cooling on my cpu would actually be alot smarter in retrospect). You could have another radiator on the back, yet another one if you remove hdd bays. But there's no contest, if your just watercooling the cpu on it's own COME ON, the 800D is garbage for air and dust, just garbage. Take the HAF-X, there's really no second guessing especially in your situation, (sorry to be brutally honest), but I don't see you doing much research on your end, and these replies, are NOT, well written or believable to just be convinced lol. And I'm only saying that to help make you a smarter buyer, cuz none of this is cheap.

And for the Z5500 nooo man, this is your ticket, http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/promedia-ultra-5-1-overview/ and once again, I use it, glass is half empty I'm biased, half full, why bother believing me if I didn't end up getting the product myself?? And to the guy who said good headphones are always better, uumm, well on a dollar for dollar basis NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE. It's the exact opposite to be honest, you get those Klipsch Promedia's and you'll hate any headphone unless you get something like [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Beyer-Dynamic-Premium-600-Headphones/dp/B0024NK35S/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1296444043&sr=8-2"]this[/ame] powered by AT LEAST an Asus Xonar Essence STX. I say AT LEAST that because, with that motherboard you'll get an OK amp and dac, but nothing that will max out the headphones potential. Not that it will matter because in honesty, having a good set of surround speakers will always be the most surreal earth shattering, ground shaking (literally), experience. Otherwise movie theaters would just have everyone wear headphones, which ask anyone expert or not, would be a joke lol.

Your headset is made by a great company and I was considering it, but keep your mind open because you'll be able to, (and I'm still waiting for the money to do it as well), get into audiophile grade headsets which are nice for listening to the full on surround sound in games and full blast music/movies, without disturbing the people in the house.

Trust me if you let people say what you think you want to hear, you'll waste alot of money and think your getting the best. When you think about it, you could research between 3 weeks and a month or 2 even, you'll get something and keep it (think i7 era), for years and years, especially sound components that don't really get outdated (these same klipsch speakers have been the best for years and years and years). My GTX 480 sli is gonna be playing virtually every game at max settings for years to come (other than those very poorly optimized for any gpu). Just remember that when you make these big dollar decisions man.

I would vote for sound.. Those speakers have AMAZING base.. But if you're watercooling obviously the 800D.. I hate that my HAFx doesn't have a larger window frown.gif

I like how my 800D looks but people are right, there is no aiflow, door on to door off my gpus run about 10-15c cooler there really is no airflow.

All water 800d wins hands down but you have to work for any airflow.

Sorry guys -- I just purchased the 800D

Also, I did do a lot of research. I know as for AIr Flow -- The 800D blows compared to the HAF X

However, the cable management is much easier and better looking. The build qualitiy is also better in my opinion ( had the 932 before and it was alright)

Because of the no air flow -- Dust will not be nearly as much of a problem. Physics here, that's all.

I also like how the 800D looks in comparison to the Haf X. I went through the galleries for both, and the 800D just looks way more professional.

Thanks a bunch guys for helping me make my decision smile.gif
