800D: all watercooling (even though the HAF-X can do it just as well)
HAF-X: has anything you could want (I understand I have that case and you could just consider me biased but the glass is also half full, because I'm supporting something I use)

With the HAF-X you can do WHATEVER you want, i have a 240mm on top for my cpu which could EASILY be a 360 (a 480 wouldn't be a problem either if you don't need the usb 3.0 headers) , (but having 2 200mm exhaust fans, and getting top notch air cooling on my cpu would actually be alot smarter in retrospect). You could have another radiator on the back, yet another one if you remove hdd bays. But there's no contest, if your just watercooling the cpu on it's own COME ON, the 800D is garbage for air and dust, just garbage. Take the HAF-X, there's really no second guessing especially in your situation, (sorry to be brutally honest), but I don't see you doing much research on your end, and these replies, are NOT, well written or believable to just be convinced lol. And I'm only saying that to help make you a smarter buyer, cuz none of this is cheap.

And for the Z5500 nooo man, this is your ticket, http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/promedia-ultra-5-1-overview/ and once again, I use it, glass is half empty I'm biased, half full, why bother believing me if I didn't end up getting the product myself?? And to the guy who said good headphones are always better, uumm, well on a dollar for dollar basis NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE. It's the exact opposite to be honest, you get those Klipsch Promedia's and you'll hate any headphone unless you get something like this powered by AT LEAST an Asus Xonar Essence STX. I say AT LEAST that because, with that motherboard you'll get an OK amp and dac, but nothing that will max out the headphones potential. Not that it will matter because in honesty, having a good set of surround speakers will always be the most surreal earth shattering, ground shaking (literally), experience. Otherwise movie theaters would just have everyone wear headphones, which ask anyone expert or not, would be a joke lol.

Your headset is made by a great company and I was considering it, but keep your mind open because you'll be able to, (and I'm still waiting for the money to do it as well), get into audiophile grade headsets which are nice for listening to the full on surround sound in games and full blast music/movies, without disturbing the people in the house.

Trust me if you let people say what you think you want to hear, you'll waste alot of money and think your getting the best. When you think about it, you could research between 3 weeks and a month or 2 even, you'll get something and keep it (think i7 era), for years and years, especially sound components that don't really get outdated (these same klipsch speakers have been the best for years and years and years). My GTX 480 sli is gonna be playing virtually every game at max settings for years to come (other than those very poorly optimized for any gpu). Just remember that when you make these big dollar decisions man.

All water 800d wins hands down but you have to work for any airflow.

Bad advice right there. At normal setup the 800D may be less than average somewhat on air cooling. However with some better fans which most people apply anyways as most stock case fans suck, I noticed a vast improvement. Matter of fact, I get NO DIFFERENT temps on CPU/GPU than I did with any other case, cuz I used to have a HAF as well. I am on my second 800D. So no, the 800D does not have terrible airflow. It just requires somebody who is dilligent enough to properly config fans to allow for optimum airflow. I promise you OP, you will not be disappointed with the 800D.

EDIT: I am at less than 10* above ambient with my 800D right now with CPU w/ CM Hyper 212 and I am at 39*C on GPU with fan at 40% ater just getting done with a gaming session less than 2 minutes ago fr the past lie 4 hours.

Double EDIT: Ok, it bobbles between 8-12* above ambient. But still very good airflow.

I already knew to take what he said like a grain of salt. Clearly it was just a really biased opinion based on what he truly wanted.

I already know that the Haf X is better with Air flow, but not as good when it comes to a professional, clean looking case. The HAF X just isn't as good looking to me.

Anywho, case is on it's way and should arrive WED. I'll probably be taking pics with my Dads Olympus E-PL1 camera so people can actually enjoy it

I love both the 800 and 700D. But have seen alot of comments of the sides bowing in on the 700D. But no clue if that is true I don't have either yet but I will have one of the two.

I cant stand cases that look like a trapper keeper from 1995. Maybe I am just getting old. But I do know when you look @ the 700 or 800D its sexy and compliments the room! Also for anyone who cares the 650D and limited edition 600T should be out in april =)

Not trying to hijack your thread just pointing this out for you come future updrages =)

I have a HAF-X and I like it a lot. I have my CPU watercooled, and could take a GPU in the the loop as well, with little change. I like the looks of it, the features, and I'm going to get the 932/X side window soon.

That said, I love the 800D as well, It's an awesome case and looks very sleek.

If you're planning on doing CPU and GPU x 2 or more, then the 800D has the room for bigger rads. Other than that, you can do almost anything in both of them, so choose what you like the most.

800D costs like £200 wheras HAF X is £130, they both do a good job, an personally HAF X is better looking, 800D seems best for case modders, and you can fit a watercooler in HAF X and have good air cooling on gfx, obvious choice if you as me

EDIT: Sorry 800D is £220 not 200 so you will be savin £90
