It's a fact that IPS monitors ghost a lot more, but it's still not enough to justify abandoning them. IPS monitors just looks so much better that a little bit of ghosting doesn't hurt. TN monitors look awful compared to IPS monitors but they ghost less.
Not always. Some will do the proper spec. You just have to read and make sure. While your monitor might not ghost, but most gamers avoid IPS because of input lag.
As for backlight bleed, OP. Good luck, as it can happen to any monitor. I would buy locally so you can make the quick exchange.
