XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 Help

Thread Starter
So I Just received the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 cooling kit and although this was my first liquid cooling build setup was easy to do. My problem is I am not getting adequate cooling. Idle running temp of 48-52C at a zero overclock. I know this loop is capable to get lower temps because my other system is setup on an Corsair self contained loop which is way smaller and has a single radiator which keeps temps between 28-32C idle 40 C stressed at stock speed. Same setup as the system I'm attempting to overclock now.

My previous cooler was a V8 CoolerMaster which with a 3.8 OC i was stressing at a 55-58C and idle it was 38-40C i was hoping with this cooling solution i might be able to push my overclock further since 60 is the max sustained temp this CPU is supposed to be put through.

I Put the loop together before mounting to make removing the air a bit easier and i am confident i removed it all.

I currently have the loop setup like this Pump/Res - Rad - CPU - Pump/Res When I have the setup on for 5 mins you can feel the outtake of the waterblock is warm and the intake is cool so i know that it is flowing but i am not sure if the flow is fast enough. Many users say that the pump should work fine for a single CPU loop. Yet it isn't for me.

I read on some other posts that cleaning the entire getup before uses is wise and i did not do this but they also said that they didn't see any major changes in temps because of this so i am hesitant to take the whole things apart to see before getting other opinions.

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE
MB: MSI 790FX-GD70
Case: Antex 900

Any ideas are appreciated.

Did you remove the plastic film from the CPU block?(believe it or not, users have reported overlooking this) I would recheck that the CPU block is seated properly.

Just in case anyone was wondering the dirty block was the problem. I cleaned it and flushed my system. right now i have a 4ghz overclock at a 1.52v trying to stabilize. And my temps stress-testing are at 45C =] idle 32-36C so the cooling is working.
