SB dropping like flies, or no? - Page 3

Gotta be BS. If SB chips were dying off that quickly we would have heard about it before this post

Many people have indeed had these for months. Whether he did or not, I don't know; but plenty of people had them before you and me could get them.

I don't know about stuttering; but it is a mediocre PSU.

Oh, and he also claims that you can't get over 4GHz on less than 1.38V, and therefore everyone should get the regular 2500/2600 or an AMD instead.

So, OCN's opinion?
my sig says different. No problems so far other that 4.6 @ 1.36v gets too hot too fast.

@OP What forum did you get this info from by the way? There always will be one of those nubs who just spend a lot of money on the most expensive components without knowing anything and thinking that they are overclockers.

Averagejoe nubs in such forum as Anandtech are always going to be BSing about the max vCore with their most expensive mobo and 990x CPUs. Such a sad sight if you ask me, I just go to one of these sites once a month to get a good laugh.

After reading the geekhack thread it's clear that Brian8bit is a mad AMD fan trying to scrape up anything bad to say about SB. Normal behavior, especially on OCN.

We get posts about anything and everything going wrong, If an SB chip up and died already I promise you there would be a thread going right now with massive rage.
