<3 Arch

I've been a full time ArchLinux user for a few years now (previously Slackware) so I might have to check this project out.

Also, why is nobody on IRC? frown.gif

because nobody is on IRC so nobody bothers to join, if you'll say my irc nick (s1dev) it will give me an audio warning if you want to talk to me(I'm usually online).

Is there any volunteer work still needed? I now have a whole bunch of extra time now. Let me know what you need and I will see what I can do.

I would help out but I don't know how to code redface.gif I'd love to learn though.

Just some clarification guys. Building a Linux distribution like this is nothing more than configuring a bunch of stuff and making sure it works. Pretty close to zero coding.

I just found this post, as I am looking to switch my main desktop back to a flavor of Linux that I haven't chosen yet, however, I do plan on o/c'ing it more since I've got the water loop (just waiting on a rad bracket to get the rig back up and running, should be any day now, as soon as Gary over at Sidewinder gets some more in biggrin.gif).

I have intermediate Linux background, extensive hardware background, unfortunately I stay away from coding, so can't help there if it's needed.

Let me know how I can help/test things out, plus I'm on an AMD Phenom II x4 940 BE CPU, so that might come in handy for testing, since there aren't too many AMD user's left out there, esp. ones that are willing to test stuff out! thumb.gif

Sure thing, grab the pre-alpha for now as that's all that's available. Someday it will have more features but in the near future that's all there will be. Also note OCNix is primarily to be a live distro with no intention to add installation until the very very end of development.
