[BD]Bulletstorm PC WOULD NOT require constant net connection - Page 2

Good. Requiring net for SP is just an insult to your honest customer.

Now go one step further and get rid of all DRM.

Would not or Will not?

Because "would" implies a condition, which, in turn, implies that it will force constant net connection IF it weren't for something.

I didn't need to be online to installed COD4 and it's one of the best selling PC games of all time. I should not have to be online unless I want to play multiplater (obviously) Anything more than that is offensive and out of the question. Do consoles gamers have these requirements? No. Yet consoles have JUST AS MUCH piracy.
Get off YOUR high horse and realize not everyone cares about YOU. You can't please everyone with everything so if a small percentage is whining and moaning cause of god knows what, even something as trivial as having internet on when installing, don't really matter in the long run. If everyone was as butt hurt as you with a something that shouldn't even affect gameplay, then Steam would be dead and there would be no such things as Digital Distributers.

Besides, what modern day computer is not connected to the internet. The stationary gaming only rig is a past thing once wireless is so easy and effective to use.

If you not going to play the game because of something so trivial then good riddance cause your fighting a lost cause.

What is good is that there is no online usage for SP.

PCF are awesome, I wouldn't have thought they would do that. This is the first I'm hearing of this.

Distributors* + many missing punctuation

I'm ashamed to be in the same age group as you. You should know better.

If you're happy being forced to being online in order to play or install a game then that's fine for you. But I'm not, nor are many other people. If everyone rolled over and didn't kick up a fuss you'd need to be online and on the phone to a developer representitive ready to turn matching keys in order to play the game. Thank people who kick up a fuss that Ubisoft backpeddled on their always-on DRM. Thank people who kicked up a fuss that EA released a deauthorise tool in order to regain an install for any given title.

I have no idea what you dribbled into your last line but I don't destinctively remember saying I wasn't going to buy this game.

This is another clear cut case of "If this is fine for you, then shut up and let the men get stuff done" So, shut up and let the people who care sort this mess out.

Chill, dude. You're the one who started in with "Get off your high bloody horse". Requiring an internet connection during installation is a more or less accepted practice these days; notice the absolute lack of outrage from anyone but you. There is no mess. There was before, but it has been sorted out already. The only people inconvenienced by this practice are single-player-only PC gamers without internet connections, which seems to me to be a darned small demographic.

Benin got Internet a year or two ago, so, you tell me.

Gaming only rig a thing of the past? You mean laptops? I'd love to see a laptop replace my machine whilst not costing 10x more.

Crysis warhead was shipped to me on a day that the power and internet was out for most of columbus. I was lucky that my only lost was the internet. So I figured I would play story mode to pass the time. Nope, EA thought it would be a good idea to require internet when installing. A few days later I went online and checked out a few torrents. Didn't seem to have any affect on the pirates...

I wish EA would learn from past mistakes.

This makes no sense. You'd have to be online to check out torrents, so you'd have no problem playing the game. Unless you're referencing a crack.
