Phenom II x4 955 + Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 - $228
2x2GB Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3-1600 CL9 - $50, $40 AR OR 2x 1x2GB Kingston HyperX 1600 CL9 for $44 (if you don't like rebates, thouh the HyperX Blu is a decent overclocker)

Total cost is slightly less than the previous suggestion, you save around $10.
hmm, i forgot to mention that i'm in canada. combos that is on newegg.com most of the time are not available in newegg.ca. I think he wants to get an intel cpu/mobo so i can't help him there.

Canada? In which case you should buy at NCIX instead of Newegg, they're a better computer store in Canada and you can local pickup if in Vancouver or Toronto area to save money. They also price match to Canadian competitors.

Kingston HyperX Blu 2x2GB DDR3-1600 CL9 - $45
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO - $96.30, 81.30 AR price match
Phenom II x4 955 - $137.98 price match
Subtotal before rebates: $279.28
5% nationwide tax: $13.94 (may be more in your province i.e. HST)
Total before rebates: $293.24
Total after rebates: approx. $278

Pricematch is done in the shopping cart.
