Asus P8P67 PRO problem

Thread Starter
I have recently purchased a new rig:
I5 2500k
P8P67 pro
Kingston HyperX 2x4G
Msi gtx 570

When I boot up the computer, it shutsdown immediately then boots up again.
This happends everytime I turn on my computer. Is this normal?

Also I'm using logitech z-5500 as my speaker pluged into optical. When the computer is on I hear buzz sound from the speakers. Nothing like this happend before on my previous rig.

Soo I had that problem when I first started using this mobo, but now I have run into a problem where the red mem ok light will turn on everytime i start up, and I will get no video. If I turn off, turn the power button on the psu off and turn it back on itll start up... but it says something about memory overclock and it makes me go into my bios, and I wont even change anything... Ill click discard and exit and itll boot right into windows.

BTW my memory is not overclocked.

I was getting double boot when i set my Ram at 1600 without adjusting the voltage. It might be a Ram compatibility issue. ( if your ram is at stock speeds and whatnot)

List of compatible memory in pdf form:

its a ram issue. First off make sure you have the latest and proper bios as suggested. Secondly after you update make sure you clear cmos after flashing. If that doesnt fix it make sure your ram is in the mobo list as these boards are picky about ram.

And no offense but next time search before posting this has been ALL over the place.
