Another good buy or not thread.

OK, first off, I have been fighting the SSD craze tooth and nail thus far. For the price I don't see how loading a couple seconds faster is worth it. BUT, I see the overwhelming amount of people who say it IS worth it. SO, I think I may give it a try. I was looking through Newegg and just want a boot drive. And I didn't want to go over 100 dollars I came across this SSD here. It seems to have the fastest sequential read and access times in that price range. Would you say this is a decent buy or no?

Yea I saw, but I tend not to read too much into what Newegg feedback says. Thats why I was asking here. You don't know how many of those people actually know what they are talking about.

EDIT: but I am open to any ideas in the price range of 100 or so dollars for just a boot drive. Boot drive meaning 30-64 gigs I guess.

I had another buddy tell me about his awful SSD drive experience too. He had an Intel one too. It now sits in his closet. Nothing but problems with it. And he said he only booted like 15 seconds faster. This is why I don't undertsand the craze, BUT I am willing to try to understand, which is why I opted to maybe get one.
