Need mosfet/RAM sinks for AC freezer xtreme plus

Just bought this cooler and I hear the aluminum heat sinks that come with the mounting brackets suck. I can't really find too many other options out there. I was looking at the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835708008 however it only comes with 8, you need 10 for the GTX 570. Also, they look super tall and may have clearance issues with the mounting plate for the cooler.

Any recommendations?

Your link is broken but I manage to see that you are referring to Enzotech BMR-C1, which I think is too tall just as you suspect.

I recommend Enzotech's BCC-9 which is an excellent all copper heatsink and its low profile should fit. It comes in a pack of 8.
Enzotech link: http://www.enzotechnology.com/bcc9.htm

Newegg is out of stock with them and so you can try FrozenCPU, Sidewinder or your favourite online store.

Yeah I saw those as well. I assumed they had been discontinued for some reason because a few sites I saw listed them as either discontinued or some other odd status. There is still only 8.. but I guess 8 out of 10 isn't bad. I wish there was an entire set of copper sinks for the entire card. All I've found was aluminum.

BCC-9 is probably the top-of-the-line product in this category, AFAIK.

Perhaps you can buy 2 packs. Use 10 and just sell the rest?

Its not really the VRAM thats a problem is it, more the VR's that the AC crappy aluminium efforts are no good at.

I'm kinda in the same boat, just burned my 570 vr's out... Got a 580 inbound, but reluctant to put AXP back on due to the poor VR coolers.

Is there any alternative VR cooling that will fit with these AC coolers ?

I did see a picture of a 480 with an AXP and Thermalright VRM-G2 on here somewhere, but dont know if that will fit a 5x0 card.

That's what I was afraid of. What about if I did buy two packs of http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/enbcbmlowprf.html and put the extra on the VRM? I don't know if they would fit, or have a large enough surface area.

Wow I've just spent the past hour searching for VRM heat sinks to no avail. The Shaman comes with a nice looking one, but doesn't sell them separately.
