Best Crysis graphical mod? - Page 2

How do you use Rygel's pack anyway? It's just some image file and I don't know where to place it in my game folder.

You should have two files called zzTexturesupdatepart1.pak and zzTexturesupdatepart2.pak you need to place these in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game or without the (x86) if your running 32 bit OS. Its the same with any texture replacements for Crysis.

Interesting, I might just try that combo.

How did you install the Ultra High config alongside Natural Mod though and were there any issues in doing so?

Also, where might I obtain a file of Doomlords AI Tweaks?

Nope no issues with using the HP cfg and Natural Mod as they do two diffrent things. The Natural Mod actually adjusts the ToD of each indivdual map although it does install a system.cfg too that can be used but I preferred to replace (just delete it from Crysis folder) it with the HP autoexec.cfg which gives a higher overall graphical quality. The AI cfg's I took out of the CCC 2.21 package by just exploring the "files.install" file with 7zip and extracting the doomlord folder and copying the AI configs in that folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config replacing the orignal AI config files

Screenshots and links would be great.

There are a few threads like this but one central one would be great. Maybe even with a Poll.

I have been playing Crysis on GTX460 and was supprised how great it runs. Kinda makes me wonder why people get high end cards.

I'm using these, IMO it looks amazing, much better than the bland boring looking old Crysis. biggrin.gif
Code:
[URL="http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=491"]Helder [HP] Pinto - Ultra High Quality Custom Config 1.3.1[/URL] (thanks for the suggestion)
[URL="http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=763"]Natural Mod 2.02[/URL]
[URL="http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=4471&lim=0"]High Resolution Foliage[/URL] (edit: looks like this collides with the texture pack below, add 2 extra z's to make this one work, I think.)
[URL="http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=5031&lim=0"]Slicer91's HD Texture Pack BETA 2[/URL]

Keep in mind that the tree's/vegetation look alot better on 4xAA in these screenshots, I had only 2xAA in these (edit: meh, looks like you can't have both good looking vegetation and objects, if you turn on any AA vegetation and tree's will have jagged edges, no AA with r_UseEdgeAA = 2 will make tree's/vegetation look better but objects will have jagged edges..)

Screenshot1
Screenshot2

I'm kind of disappointed that there's not many Warhead config/mods though after watching NanosuitNinja Warhead Ironman run I realized most warhead levels are annoying/something you don't want to play twice. frown.gif
