Yeah, i've tried the claw grip a couple times but find the normal, bigger mice and grip more comfortable for longer gaming sessions.

Actually, i was looking to go back to wired because that's where the best mice are. I was intrigued by a few of the Razers' braided cables. But that's not a top priority.

if you like the feel of the Performance MX, maybe look at the G700
uses the Performance MX shell, has macro buttons available for you, and can be wired or wireless.

Ok, so I was in best buy tonight and had some impulse buying hit me. At the same time, that impulse took me 30 minutes to decide between the rat 7, razer deathadder, and g500. The rat7 ended up winning. It's so strange to look at. Will be playing with it tonight. If I don't like it, I'm returning it for the G500.

Ok, so after a couple of hours of gaming Im not sure I like the feel of the R.a.t. 7. It looks bad a** for sure. But it isn't exactly the most comfortable mouse. And for those longer days of gaming, comfort trumps all. I'll give it another day, but in the event of a return -- G500 or G700? I've heard some stuttering issues hinder te G700 in wireless mode. Anyone care to share?

i went from the g5 to the g500 and haven't looked back since. it's very comfy for surfing the net and great at gaming. stick to a mouse surface that is hard plastic like the scarab.

I say Xai. Extremely comfortable for my fingertip grip, but palm works great too. I can't stand the claw grip so idk about that but it's supposed to work good. Works best on a hard mat. I came from a Sidewinder and could not be more happy with the change. Sidewinder is obviously not for fingertip grips, and the Xai material just feels excellent.
