i would say the g500 unless you want wireless

the g500 can let you set 5 different dpi so you can test around with what you want

Already have the g500 and a razor imperator. I'm going to return one this coming weekend.

I did burst out laughing a bit and shared it with the good irc community as well. They suggested you get a mouse with atleast 4500 dpi. That will definitely make you a pro.

I have no intentions of "going pro". I want something that is comfortable and makes me happy. If that makes me "un-pro"...yippy.

I don't like having to move my arm across a large chunk of desk to accomplish a relatively minor movement on screen.

Turn up the sensitivity. I suppose your OS can do that? Most games also have a sensitivity function.

Yeah...and it only goes so high and isn't the same. When I turn up the sensitivity via windows on a standard pos Dell mouse, the result is hell. Plug in a higher DPI mouse amd put sensitivity in the middle and use the dpi settings = better. May not be your cup of tea and that's fine. But rehashing your broken record responses aren't going to help.

Any of those gaming mice with 5600 dpi would do.

I suppose you could buy the most expensive one. Most expensive + highest dpi = clearly the best.
