Any of those gaming mice with 5600 dpi would do.

I suppose you could buy the most expensive one. Most expensive + highest dpi = clearly the best.
conversing with someone like you is impossible because your opinion is clearly the only sensible option.

I just moved from the Logitech MX Revolution to the Logitech G700 for many of the same reasons that you are looking for a mouse. I suggest you check that out as an option.

The G500, Kone and CM Sentinel are the 3 most comfortable mice I've tried. I wish they made bigger mice though, my hands are quite large.

Yeah, i really like the bigger size of the G500 compared to the Razer Imperator's more claw gripish design. But i like the razer too. I have to return one of them and now get the g700 to try out :/

so difficult lol.

Well I'm taking the Imperator back tomorrow. Not quite what I want. But damn close. That's for sure.

Next up: G700. I'll see how it feels next to it's older sibling, the G500.

Ok, so I now have three mice in my possession: G500, Razer Imperator, and G700. To recap, I really like the G500's shape. The finish on the sides and top is different -- still getting used to it.

The imperator is smaller, lighter, and just feels "faster". I also really like the more indented finger rests on the mouse buttons.

The G700 first impressions (it's sitting at my bag next to me at work) -- cheap. It certainly doesn't fell like a $100 mouse. The macro buttons on the top left of the mouse are rather difficult to press down and press down at different angles making it even more awkward. It's $30 more than the G500 and feels $50 less. Hopefully it's feel whilst in the middle of a game is more impressionable.

Razer Mamba

Your search is over

EDIT: The imperator sucks. No idea why anyone recommended it, it's a budget mouse for the razer line

Try out the mamba if you can, I'm a little biased since I have one, but I was in your shoes when I went shopping.

I made best buy and other places really mad because I took all the products out of boxes right there and tried them out. I told the rep's that hey, I'm not dropping $100+ on a product if I can't even see how it feels or performs...........

Who buys a car without test driving?

Anywho, long story short -- I was in your shoes, tested a bunch of products out, picked the Mamba for what it offers overall and price is in the eyes of the beholder. To me, it's worth every penny

ahahaha. I actually put them on my Best Buy card and took them home for a couple days of gaming. Switch back and forth between the two (and tonight three) in between rounds of Black Ops multiplayer.

How's the mamba in wireless mode? Is the detachable cable braided or plain?

Like I said earlier, I actually like the style of the Imperator. But it feels almost too light. The 700 on the other hand is a tad heavier, but feels like a $10 dell box mouse.

I didn't know $80 qualified as budget.

Both the Mamba and Imperator use the same exact Philips twin eye PLN 2032. The only difference is shape and wireless and that technically boils down to preference.

I personally wouldn't recommend either due to various sensor bugs.
