Best 120mm fans for HSF + Case

Thread Starter
I need to know if getting 4 more of these is a good idea: Scythe Slip Stream Kaze Jyuni 120MM Fan 1900RPM 110.3CFM 37DBA

I already have one of these on my True 120 hsf but I recently got the notion to upgrade all my stock case fans on my Antec 900 and add another to my True to give it a push pull configuration.

However, I have been lurking some other threads using the search function here and found that these fans might not be the best for static pressure.

Thing is I will have two Jyuni's for case intake and one + the 200mm fan as outake and I want to make sure everything will flow smoothly. For this reason I don't want to get HSF fans that may not push as much air that is coming in and out.

I was looking at getting two of these (for HSF push/pull config) but being loud as hell I was hoping you guys could recommend me some good fans that would perform well in this situation, or would the 1900rpm Jyuni's still do the trick?

I plan to order these later on today.

If your looking for good static pressure then check out the Scythe Gentle Typhoons.
I use them on my H50 and they work great, pretty quiet too.

These fans are pretty good. They come stock on the CoolerMaster Hyper 212+.
They move a good amount of air, and are fairly quite.
If your looking for HSF fans you will probably want fans with a wide variable speed.
You might want to look at these if your not too concerned about noise when things get toasty. My buddy has these and they're pretty impressive. Even with the "higher than I'd like to pay" price tag.

Ya I'm just looking for a high static pressure fan(s), the gentle typhoons are out of stock though from the site I plan to order from. Are there any other options for HSF fan's out there that are better or comparable?

I put Yates in my parents PC and the LEDs are bright even behind a fan filter. They're good fans, don't get me wrong. And they fairly cheap. (in price, not quality.) They've had them in their PC for a year now and the fans are just as quite as the day they got them. Even after accumulating a good amount of dust.

Here's a link. If you get them stock (without sleeving) they are only $3.95 USD.

Well I don't really want fans with led's on them, thats part of the reason I'm replacing my stock antec 900 fans. Also I wan't high static pressure but they still have to be better than the 1900rpm Jyuni's.

If your really set on a high static pressure then your best bet is to find somewhere that sells Gentle Typhoons (1850 rpm or higher) and get them.
At least that is what I would do
