Not sure is this belongs here

i have been doing some internet read (mostly bs) i am assuming. so i want some good advice from the fellow ocn. does overclocking your pci frequency help when you are running sli, considering the bandwidth is halved. if so what is the limits of certain cards (mine engtx 460 top) limit?

If you read all overclocking is considered unsafe. whatever, we here have all proven it wrong with the proper testing. so where is a good level for my cards?

Overclocking the PCI-E Freq is bad, if it's clocked up too high, it will start corrupting your data big time, clocking it up to around 110MHz will be okayish, but anything higher, your asking for trouble

data corruption? as in artifacts? i have mine set at 104 now and have read you are able to get some/not alot of performance from the boost. i have also view some that run at 135

Data corruption as in files and folder's etc... especially if your using SATA...

Overclocking the PCI-E freq = overclock's the SATA freq.... all linked to the South Bridge, 110 is about safe, but any higher, you will be risking corruptiong your data on your hardrive.

No, PCIe provides more than enough bandwidth... your card would lose less than 5% performance even on x4 PCIe 2.x.

Data corruption.... as in, your hard drive can become corrupted.

Did you benchmark 104MHz vs 100MHz? Any non-statistical-noise gains?
Once again...

no comparison i have always had my pci up a little bit because of the overclocking stability just wasn't sure how high it could go and what benifets would come from it

Overclocking it to 110MHz shoulden't be so bad
