God damit intel. Best wait for a response from MSI or OCUK.

Pretty much, I'm not doing a thing until Gigabyte says to.

Last year, they released 890GX in March and held off on the 890FX release until April. Hopefully, and maybe, they will release 990FX Bulldozer in March; while Intel is stuck holding off until April on theirs. MSI has already released pictures of their 990FX board, so we know one manufacturer has the boards ready.
April 2011 for Bulldozer CPU's...your guess is as good as mine for motherboards. It would make sense to release them before the CPU's though as existing CPU's can be used with the new chipsets.

I have an Asus P8P67 Deluxe. It has four SATA 2's and four SATA 3's(2 used by Intel's PCH and 2 by third party Marvel controller)

Is it safe for me to use the SATA 3 connectors via the Intel PCH? or are they referring to the third party controller?

Asus better be paying for the shipping. So it looks like it will be mid to late February before the manufactures start RMA'ing these boards.

Have any of the motherboard manufactures released a statement?

Looks like I will have to swap the HDD and DVD drive to the SATA3 ports till this gets fixed.

Having to remove and remount a Mugen 2 . . . *Shudders*

The four SATA2 ports are the ones effected. The 4 SATA3 are not effected by this issue. You should use the SATA3 ports until you can RMA your board.

All manufacturers I'm fairly sure must pay for shipping if it is a design flaw, and I expect them to be fully reimbursed by Intel for all related costs

SATA 6Gb/s and 3rd party controllers are good.

Good for you? Just don't complain about data corruption in a year or two.

All manufacturers found out about this TODAY. No one knows how this is going to be handled yet.
Once again...
