Have you killed a 570? (No recent deaths, buy some 570s!) - Page 112

I have an EVGA 570 GTX and everything seems fine right now. I've been running 3DMark11 constantly, and have gotten around a 15% performance increase in my scores (holding CPU constant at stock).

As far as specs I'm at 1.1v and playing around in the range 875-900 core / 1950-2100 mem.

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do about artifact scanning. I don't really want to run the scanners because they seem unnecessarily intense. Maybe just 10-15 minute runs. It just seems that looping something like 3DMark11 on max settings is much more relevant, and makes a lot more sense, than running those crazy scanners that basically try to set your card on fire if they can.

Well, I have two of those in SLI.
I was playing Crysis 2 and then it artifacts and forced me to force shut down my computer.
After I've restarted it is now in a permanent artifact and the resolution and quality is terrible.

What I found out: Only the top card died. The top card was also supporting two monitors and was the card doing Physx

The second card was fine.

So I RMA'd it with EVGA and I got a new one in about 2.5-3 weeks.

Gotta love EVGA's warranty/customer service. So, happened on stock voltage?

Hi guys, I am trying too get into the heaven top 30 benchmark. My current score is 2237 and I need too get 2405 or higher, my temperatures are at around 75.

Now my question is, theres an unlocked 1.2v bios on here, will this be okay for a benchmark run? As long as I keep my temperatures below 90 am I good too go, because this will be a once off and I do not run my cards overclocked at all for 24/7 use, im just REALLY trying too get my name on that list. I will be the only gtx 570 sli owner on it!

I will get there, I just want too know if this is a terrible idea, or just a bad one. I am running 2x Asus gtx 570s, the DCUII models, which are supposedly much safer too overclock, because they have extra VRMs, and cooling in my case is not an issue at the moment. (1.1v im maxing out at around 75 degrees on a heaven run)

I am DYING too get my name onto that list!

Please let me know ASAP guys!

Thanks.

Oh another Q, my CPU only sees around a 40% load during heaven, if I OC this from 4.3 too 4.5 will it make a difference?

With those Asus DCU II GTX570 you can safely raise vGPU but keep GPU temp under 90C..

And further OCing of your 2500K would not yeild you any more points as Heaven bench is very GPU intensive..
But you can try..

Yeah, the DCU II has a totally reworked VRM structure. Feel free to give it large amounts of voltage

Thats very reasurring thanks!

Sigh, the 1.2v bios on the other thread is an old link.

This is going too sound VERY ironic on a thread warning people about the dangers of overclocking 570s, but I dont want too start a new thread for a small Q

But anyone know where too DL a 1.2v bios for my asus gtx 570 dcuiis?

EDIT: I downloaded Nibitor, but I couldnt figure out how too use it, and I dont want too screw anything up...
