I have ASUS GTX 570 and stable oc on stock cooling is:

core volts 1.1
clocks 955/2130
limiters turned on
load temp 80c

and in game:

so it depends on what the gpu are going to get. Mine is still running perfectly.

Okay.

Core Voltage: stock
Clocks: stock
OCP/Power limit disabled: N
Load Temperature: 72C (Mirror's Edge)
VRM Cooling: stock
What you were doing: Browsing Overclock.net

570 failed to POST. Card does same thing in my other computer. My spare AMD 6870 works in both computers.

It's people like you that ruin OCN.

All I have seen you do is hate on Nvidia owners and act like a little immature kid in 6th grade, like this is some battle. I've did some looking up on you and here you are again being a complete jerk for no reason, post #55. I'd pick a certain part but basically the entire post was so dreadfully biased, disrespectful and negative I might as well link the thread.

Just so you know, "Stefy" I just came from 11 months of CrossfireX Radeons and the performance was great, the drivers, not so much. Glitches/bugs/issues in 1/3 of my games.

From seeing the AMD threads, they have fixed many issues but many remain.
As long as you stay within the limits a 570 will overclock quite well and without issue. Many, many do.

The point is, both sides have issues and various problems with certain products in their lineup. You don't have to be so disrespectful to anyone that does not share your same views. If you are going to come in here and act like a fool and hate on "the green team", no one is going to listen to you.

Most of us love videocards in general and to be honest, I just want a good one that works.
Personally, mine has been fantastic.
You can choose to keep doing what your doing and go down that road or from now on lighten up a little man.

edit
I actually ordered a Gigabyte 6970 then canceled for my 570...and Stefy whats your 3DMark11P btw?

Whatever you say man, I was just throwing in a joke, but you seemed to take offense.

Driver issues and a card blowing up because of poor quality, should ring a bell. I don't care for benchies, let alone 3dmark. When I see a certain type of card die at stock settings, I'm not going to buy it. When I see a more expensive card with significantly less memory than a cheaper card and nothing to compensate; I'm simply not interested. It's that simple. For me, buying a 570 is gambling and I cba with using RMA a hundred times just to get a decent product. I actually had a GTX 260 way back, loved that card. When the 560 came I out, I bought it right away. SLI actually. Look at my sig, the hale 1000W was actually meant for that spesific setup. I got it on a deal and been waiting for it for ages, it's actually not in stock yet, but I haven't been bothered to cancel since I've already paid for it and it was too cheap to give up.

My brother's 570 broke and he didn't get a replacement due water damage, I gave him my 560 cards because at the time I had an overflow of money which I'm good at wasting and I didn't need the performance for MMOs. Bought a 6950 and realized that it's a better deal for obvious reasons.

#55 is a dam good post, I'd write it again anytime.

Alright guys, move on!

Back on topic, sucks to gear about your card Riou. Have you verified if it was the VRM's? Being in 2D clocks shouldn't have killed it. Smell the card and report back if it smells burned!

There was a faint burning smell. I cannot see any burn marks on the back side of the PCB. Not going to remove the cooler to check though. I only had the card for 2 weeks.
