I'm not sure if i belong to this post or not because of 2 things:
1st my board never got any physical damage, it just dies all of a sudden playing Crysis 2
2nd my brand new power supply died a few hours later so i assumed it was the power supply that got it damage
anyways here is the info:
960 core and 2020 memory (i could hit 2200 mem easy but i didnt wanted to push so hard)
OCP/Power limit disabled:
(Y/N) I dont know what this is but if its the one at the top of the nibitor then no cause i never change it from its default 1.113v
65 degrees on load
What you were doing:
Playing Crysis 2
My card is an EVGA GTX 570, i had to RMA it and now its on the way back to me (i live in Venezuela so its a week wait plus $80 shipment :S )
I register on this forum when i found this post on google and now im concern cause some of the post iv read here says even at default voltages and clocks the card died for the same reason.
My new card should be arriving by Monday and I'd like to know whats the real deal about these things? should i not try to overclock my card again? and if i do should i not try to overvolt my card again?
Also what is this "OCP/Power limit disabled" thing? how do i disable or enable that if its not the one i mention on the template?
I also found this post on these same forums that one user says that as long you don't go over 1.1v everything should be fine, so i don't know what to believe anymore
