Have you killed a 570? (No recent deaths, buy some 570s!) - Page 89

I can get 950 @ 1.1v with 2000 on the memory and as far as I am concerned it is stable, why do I think this?

1. hours of BC2 with no crash/artefact.
2. hours of JC with no crash/artefact.
3. Running loads of loops of the crysis benchmark with no problems.

However it may not be stable in a synthetic stress test, synthetic being the operative word.

If your card is stress test stable, then you can probably up the clock a bit for gaming.

Also, just a question is GPU-z reliable when it comes to monitoring current, as my card hit 86 amps, is that okay as it seems quite high.

By the way, you guys that have killed one or more 570's were you using a custom profile? I do, and as I have said before, I run mine on 1.1V for few months now, no issues. With that profile max temps are 70C+-

I did notice a weird thing today though, I was running furmark(temps were 65-67C) and I was playing inside my case, moving my cathode lights etc and I noticed a low buzzing sound coming of the graphics card area.
It stopped when I exited furmark, and it seem to happen only when running that program. I don't think there is a buzz when playing games.

I just don't like the notion of having any errors. 1~2 extra FPS in a game isn't worth it for me to have errors.

GPU-Z monitors GPU current at the voltage your running the core, not on the 12v line, so 86x1.1v gives u a total of 94.6w

Has anyone got some experience with EVGA OC Scanner. It has a "GTX 500 load limiter", is this the same as OCP/Power Limit?

While having the box checked (Load limiter on) the gpu maxes at 95%, i would think that disabling it would raise it up to 100%, but don't want to do this if this is the same as OCP/Power Limit.

Sure it wasn't from the PSU? Even still, it's most likely just coil whine.

Or VRM's about to pop, like mine while playing Shogun2 maxed out (just as hot as furmark, but no OCP). I actually heard a buzzing sound beforehand.
