Really?

ONCE AGAIN. You are about the 70th person to post this. No, SB CPUs are NOT affected. Only the Sata 3Gbs chipsets on about 15% of boards are faulty. No, they will NOT explode or catch fire, they will simply wear out faster than normal. Yes, Intel will be replacing those chipsets. Yes, using Sata 6Gbps ports completely bypasses this issue.

Okay? Enough is enough.

Well, Intel spending $1 Billion should be enough truth. Their stocks also took a major hit. Its a long term problem though, not instantaneous.

Yep, because this board will last the entire 29 days. And on the 28th day my replacement will be shipped out just in time to get it installed on the 29th and have 1 extra day to play.

You sir go enjoy your $1000 price tag for a mediocre overclock while I'll enjoy my 26 GB/s memory transfer speeds and 4.8GHz air overclock.

Who the hell needs to use SATA II??? USE SATA III it's backwards compatable, just because a board might have an IDE slot does that mean you have to use it. Get real and learn some ****.

The issue only applies if you run it for 3 years or so.

Hey, I'm no sore loser, my chipset is fine.. no factory recall, no problems. Running like a champ.

Being a 1366 owner is FtW, and has been for a while now. Wonder how many problems will pop up in the next 2 years for Sandy Bridge? So far it's not looking good.

just sayin'

lol

Wonder how many problems will pop up for 1366 in two years, oh right, mainstream cheaper chips beat it... sounds like a problem.
