Thread Starter
Hi, today, i tryied to OC my e6500 (wolfdale-newer one) But i did it on 3.6ghz without changing voltage (i dont know how much to raise it) so after 5hrs in prime95 pc crashed, so i reseted it to defaults, because i was unable to boot, Now when i try to OC it will reset till i get in windows. Any suggestions? TY.

I need some help how to set up bois.

Never rush when overclocking. If you overclock like 800mhz at a time your chip will not hold out. Take it easy. Raise 100mhz and check for stability. Raise the vcore a little bit. Keep an eye out for temps. If your cpu isn't unlocked by raising the fsb you will also overclock the memories. Lower the latencies or reduce the speed. Make sure your cpu isnt overheating and that the memory is working properly. Good luck
