Yeah I was surprised to see that many people just painted their cases! I spent many many hours on mine!

I will say mine didn't turn out as "pretty" as I had hoped...but I was going for functionality over beauty.

Function always needs to come first... form can be worried about later. I think it's why so many amateur mods started as a fully working case. And although I think my case could've had a shot if I'd painted stuff and whatnot, I definitely would've lost points as my stupid-thick rad now blocks my 8-pin CPU power plug. I have to decide whether to use spacers to lift the whole top rad/fan/shroud assembly or get a new motherboard with the 8-pin CPU power in a lower area. Although, there aren't many options for mobos with lower power plugs, so I'll probably end up with spacers and longer screws.

You should enter next year! I've already got a few ideas for what I'm going to do

I'll consider it... if I have money and time. Seems those are the main two things I'd need xP

Now that this rig is nearly done (I decided to go for risers for the rad/shroud/fan assembly) I'd have to have a new rig or at least a new case and PSU to do a mod. Honestly, I just don't see that happening.

All is not well... things are getting too hot, my stable OC now goes up to about 62-64 while folding, so I had to drop it down a notch. Now it just wont seem to stabalize. Went down to 3.5~ and no matter what the computer siezes while folding for only about an hour. So tried another step down and Linux does a little 'panic' within 15 seconds of starting folding...

Apparently certain Linux distros are harder on an OC than other OS's. I know I had to tone down my 1055T's OC when I first got it. Do your best to stabilize and then consider better cooling... I really can't think of many better options, here.

Looks like my WU wasn't going to finish before I left to the Lan Party so I just stopped Folding on Monday.

I should be back Folding once I return from the Lan Party on Monday night or Tuesday.
