I might shut it down for a few hours some time this week. I'm thinking about changing out my GT 2150's that are on my rads for Medium speed Panaflo's. The GT's are stupidly loud compared to what I had before. mad.gif Even as a deaf guy they're loud to me. I even have a fan controller on them but can only turn them down so far before they'd stop.

YATE LOONS! Srsly, bang for buck they are the best value IMO. Also relatively quiet. (I have 13 on my folding rig).

How well do they function in a push//pull config with static pressure and whatnot?

I've been told the Xyruillians are similar to that of the GTs. They are a bit louder than the GTs but definitely quieter and nicer quality than Yates. I'm running these babies

not bad performers for their price and sleeved cables... Koolertek has them a bit cheaper.

However, I want some AP-00s on my rads as they are a bit more powerful thumb.gif

I already own the Panaflos though. I'm trying not to spend any more money for awhile.

Static is what I was going for with the Panaflos btw. I figured I may see a difference going from 25mm to 38mm?

There was a chart a while back I referenced...can't find it now...but GT's YL's and another brand were on there all with decent static pressure.

Corsair came out with some new ones recently that claim very high static pressure:

Sorry for the double post but this is aimed towards Carlos and Donkey.. or anyone else running bigadv units tongue.gif

Have you guys heard of TheKraken? It's an affinity wrapper... which basically helps with FAH which lowers TPF

http://www.amdzone.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=521&t=138463

Direct Download of version 0.7

http://darkswarm.org/thekraken-0.7-pre2.tar.gz

Pretty simple install.
Thekraken install (Click to show)
I did it this way:

download to desktop and extract

then
Code:
cd Desktop
cd foldername

once there I did the whole
Code:
make
make install

once done with that, close terminal and open a new one then move to FAH folder:
Code:
cd Desktop
cd FAH

then run the setup process
Code:
thekraken -i
thekraken -u
