Internet-wise no. Just Clear and it's very slow and undependable from what I read on it. Phone-wise we're going to try and get the Obihai system and use that.

Well at least you can cut costs there! I'm considering dropping my DISH service altogether, but I keep calling and complaining and they continue to give me free service loller

I do find that it's easy to get by with Hulu and youtube and some of the network specific websites. At first you'd think "oh but I'd have to wait a few days" or whatever. But once you get the hang of it... it's like it falls into place or something. It's great though... watch whatever whenever instead of being stressed out about must record this and that or must watch this at that time.

But I don't think I can sacrifice 15-20 mbps down to 1mbps just to save $15 a month. :-/ Won't be able to stream anything at that speed.

I received an email from my campus tech services that they will be upgrading our infrastructure on campus. So they said on Saturday there will be intermittent outages with the internet. Anything I should do to prepare for this? Most likely they will happen while I have a unit, but I don't want to lose a unit to the internet being down.

Anyone want to cover Krusher's spot? I would but the only rig I have with a power supply strong enough to run my 6950 or 6970 is my TC rig.

What I saw when my internet went down is that it completed and then tried to upload and it just kept retrying over and over again.

And I guess I was having issues with internet in my VM for my CPU client because it was trying to download a new WU but it couldn't connect to server. It just kept retrying over and over again.

Well that's reassuring to be honest. If the internet is down for only an hour, at least I can still upload my WU once it's back up.
