edit: this was directed at famine coming back tommorow

Wonderful.

Things went butt-up here today. I had an obligation which took up most of my day, and spent most of the morning trying to fix problems.

I split up the raid0 setup in the 2500k build. Which led to crazy problems. The girls build, which is what the 580 is in, first wouldnt take a proper install, then after I got it formated, it installed with mbr, which is dislike, took another 5-6 installs to get gdp set up correctly. After that, started folding, but couldnt get the hfm to work correctly, however it made it through 2 units before it blue screen. Instead of booting back up, it erased the mbr. Why? That I am not currently certain of. I know if it happens again, I am just going to get a 64gb m4, and call it a day. If it does stay working, I will just get another 128gb m4 for her computer in the next week or so.

Then, trying to install windows onto the 2500k build, well, I went over that on the last page.

It is days like these, that make me want to throw in the towel for computer stuff altogether. Then I remember I am pretty much stuck in a permanant social coma, and pretty much hate being around groups of people of 4 or more, and realize everything that I generally want is on a computer. I sleeze my way back into the computer chair, and grudgingly work the problems out.

Good luck to you!thumb.gif

The good news is that there is always the chance you could get a long string of p8019 and p8020, while the rest of us get stuck in a 800x rut, and you could rocket back up to #1!

I'm hoping not though! tongue.gif

I got 18 in a row, but lost 2 of them because I got too aggressive with the memory speed.

HAHAHA!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. My rig is unstable at 4.9 that's why it crashed and I lost a few hours on this WU. Looks like I'll be staying at 4.8Ghz for the time being.
