Now I'm hoping the economy comes back so their value goes back up. As things are right now, most of it would fetch less than half as much as it would have 5 or 6 years ago.
Fortunately I'm not in a "must sell" position.
Problem is, I am seriously running out of room.
Before we were in this house, we shared the living room, which was 20x30'. I also had storage in the basement. Now, I only have a 10x15' room, and she is letting me use the other bedroom as spill-over, but she doesnt want it all there permanently.
Now, I keep getting low end hi-fi. I spend 200-400 on used pairs of speakers, and used amps/recievers, reasonably priced. I've been going through fixing them, making sure all voltages are at or above spec, and then they are sitting.
Earlier today, I decided to heck with it, and am just going to go way above what I have had my eye on (for two months, maybe. haha) Just go all out, and get real hi-fi equitment. In that process, its going to render everything I currently have, completely useless for my purposes. My brother mentioned he wanted a klipsch monitors I have, I have already set aside a reciever and speakers for my Mom, which leaves me with three more pairs of speakers to go through, three amps, and another reciever. The other receiver is going to be kept for the living room, along with another pair of speakers. But it still leaves me with too many things to have, and not room to store them, though I'd love to keep them, they hold absolute no value to me.
This is not even beginning to discuss the 10-12 boxes full of computer stuff that needs to go as well.
