That, and, considering that 3930k's pull around 500-650w from the wall, while the 2p build should max from the wall around 300w. Only a fool would chose the 3930k over the e5 build.
Think what you will. But I've got a small stack of electric bills that would dispute any difference in ppd there is. And there is no telling how long 39XX builds will actually be able to do huge adv. While the 2p build, you are assured will be good for the long run.
last edit: Either way, its a toss in the hat for the give away. I have no need and pretty much no want for a "gaming computer" outside of what I already have. As they don't cost much at this current moment to max everything outside of the few titles that cannot be maxed no matter what the configs.
So, I mean, I am looking at it this way. 2p, folding 24/7, low wattage. Will last the long haul. Can switch to ivy-e at a later date and only upgrade some parts.
