So I haven't played Dead Space I, but I bought Dead Space 2 on steam and I love it, really great game and lot of fun. Actually best single player in long time. So as I like 2nd version so much I'm thinking of getting first one, but should I get it for 14,99 Euro? I'm scared that it might not be as much fun as Dead Space 2 was. What do you guys think?
Dead Space is a great game, it has a lot of the same game play aspects, and makes a pretty good story. I think you should definitely enjoy it and get good use of your $$ out of it
Well, there really aren't any significant differences gameplay wise. There's more "bosses" in the first one I suppose, but I think you might consider getting it for the story.
Granted, since you've played the second a lot of the buildup won't be there, but it does have a lot more interesting characters I think.
The Ishimura, though definitely represented in DS2, is something you can only really appreciate by playing Dead Space 1. When I heard I was going back to that ship when I was playing DS2, I twitched.

My reaction was oh **** not again.
