ASUS monitor question

Thread Starter
So back in the summer I bought an ASUS VW195TAA off of newegg for about $120. I'm now thinking of going dual display but as you can see the item has since been discontinued, at least on newegg. Ive looked around to other sites and the cheapest i can find it is somewhere in the $230 neighborhood which is seems pricey to me for a 19" monitor and is much more than i payed ~7 months ago. There is, however, a VERY similar monitor the ASUS VW195T-P. All of the specs match and for all i can tell its the same monitor, but then why is the product number different? I was hoping someone with more knowledge of Asus monitors could help me out here and tell me what the difference between the two monitors is and if one of each would look good in a dual display setup.

Thanks!

They look like they are the same. Just with a different model number.

You can get a 1920x1080 Asus monitor for 169.99 bucks too btw.

but if you're looking for dual displays that one should match perfectly.

If you're getting the same brand and same line of monitors, it's pretty difficult to not make them look good.

Just get it if you want. It's gonna look fantastic. Dual monitors or bust. cheers.gif

They are the same, it's literally a different ID number because of that on New feature, what was it EPEAT?

But like Chief said, it would match your current one perfectly =]
