How to setup HFM website ? - Page 2

Thread Starter
I managed to get it working ! ftp://usernameassword@yourftpserverurl/public_html/ is indeed the correct URL to use.

http://freek.ws/folding/stats/summary.html

However, It was a pain to setup correctly.
I wanted to create a sub FTP account, so it doesn't use my main FTP account... but apparantly it didn't like the extra '@' sign in the username (so folding@freek.ws as username wasn't working)

Thanks for the tip guys !

The system build into it is a bit weird, but I got it to work

Don't do what the tutorial says, it's confusing. It only creates all these sub folders

Add this ftp://username: password@domain.com/createthisfolder

create the folder 1st in your directory and then add it into Hfm and test it out

so instead of

ftp://username: password@yourftpserverurl/public_html/

use ftp://username: password@yourftpserverurl/FAH

?

how do i verify that my HFM is actually uploading i dont get why the test connection succeeds then nothing gets uploaded
post #14 of 14
The test connection, is just to test that it can access the FTP

Nothing gets uploaded until the 1st upload. Which is set by x amount of minutes in the web settings. I have mine to upload every 5 mins. So change that, to have it update quicker and have your files uploaded.

you might also want to access the ftp via an ftp client(Mozilla fire ftp is a good one). Log in and check if it created any files. One of them is summary.html
