[AMD] Turbo Core 2.0 Detail - Page 3

I smell winds of change for my 1366 ehehe

This is great news for people who dont know how to overclock and for the average consumer. If bulldozer has high stock clocks out of the box, then with turbo boost they would get even better performance/dollar than before. I wonder, is bulldozer still going to have a low max temp(phenom IIs' usually have a max of 62c or 71c depending on the stepping) compared to intel cpus? And at what speed do you start to have diminishing returns in clock speed(if any)?

Anyone else notice the spellcheck in the pic

Wow, the more I read about Bulldozer, the more I look forward to it's release!

Coincidence?!

Edit: JF, you hadn't posted when I started my slow typing! Didn't want it to look like I was talking to you in third person, that would be rude.
I still haven't said anything about clock speeds.

On the server side everything is the same as current products.

Don't know why they turned that into a graphic, it was a table in the word doc when I gave it to the web team. Yeah, I actually write my own stuff.

so does this mean us overclockers can get speeds of 5GHz with bulldozers?

Beats me, I have never overclocked. I actually underclock some of my systems, I know, heresy in these parts.

I never did.
is there some sort of clause you have to sign your life to when working for amd that states that you may never overclock an amd CPU while working for them. Doing so, you void the terms of employment?

They probably where feeling a bit lazy and didn't wanna type out the table or div coding

I'm excited for Bulldozer. Tryin' to get rid of my Intel system and hold off on a dual core AMD system until BD comes out.
