Well, it's been six months and I was impressed with Intel's integrity on this. They jumped on the problem to find out what it was and issued a recall in days.
How many of you can mention more than one hard drive company that knew they had bad drives and just denied it and kept selling them?
Some might think there's a difference but there are lots of differences in many companies and honorable decisions are always such a great thing to see. Consider how many companies just pretend their products don't have problems.
Kudos to Intel for not hesitating even though they knew it would cost them a billion dollars.
I was very impressed, both with their speed to find the source of the problem and the quickness to issue a recall completely at their own expense. It's refreshing to see a company act with integrity.
