This resolution w/ this game kills me, as I'm very limited on vram. This is normally a game that I'd run on my middle monitor maxed out and be happy with, but after these runs I'm considering just playing on LOW in 2D Surround. The game still looks great.

Yes I have a 4890, but a 6950 on the way. You can stop trying to convince me not to buy now. I'm set on getting an eyefinity setup, I've been "bitten"! The trick now is whether I get three ****ty hdtvs (maybe 40 inch) and sit back a bit for lots of immersion, or get 3 monitors which will have better pic, but be a lot smaller.

Go a good 120hz monitor, i got 3d vision with my lappy, and just when you thought your favourite game couldnt get better you were wrong if you just HAD to go multi mon, get another or beefier card(gtx 580 3gb anyone?)

I'm actually not that bothered about 3d, but I would definitely consider 120hz (true) if I knew it worked with eyefinity, and with an adapter, as I might not be able to afford a displayport monitor.

i think most people are like me, they expected to be able to run it nearly maxed on all three, and that doesnt seem possible. I really think i can handle medium settings with a 3x1. I dont plan on getting the gpu's until i see some satisfying numbers, but i do plan on getting the monitors now. any reason i shouldn't go that route?

I agree. I'll definitely be running the benches again in a month or so when I get my GTX580's.
