Custom built 3 monitor aluminum stand

Thread Starter
hey i thought i would share my custom monitor stand build with all of you. i stopped using 2 21" lcds from another application and wondered where else i could use them.. i thought well i have a computer that only has a 19" lcd on it so i could add it to that comp..... but the desk it is at is tiny and there is no room for 2 more 21" displays. so behold my brainstorm!

first pic aluminum i had layin around.
next clamping and drilling for bolts
next half way there
finished product
last back of monitor with wall bracket.

then hanging first monitor
and second monitor
backside
from the top
then just one with another monitor below it to demonstrate the concept, its not actually the same computer or monitor, and i will add a final pic when ive got it set up

i gain a bunch of display real estate and dont lose any available desk space!! project success!

It looks good but I don't like that 2+1 configuration.

and finally i have the other monitor mounted on the stand. as for the 2+1 config im not a huge fan either, but as stated in the first pic i had 2 spare monitors plus very limited space.

next get the cables cleaned up and its good to go.

I wouldn't dare trust anything i built to hold up my monitors.

Then again, i'm terrible at DIY. lol

Looks like you've done a good job though.
