Until we see some numbers not based on previous cards and their respective blocks, we can only assume EK > Swiftech. Assumptions based on lineage are tough to swallow as fact.

I'm not sure how the HydroCopper bios is any better but I've seen in a few places people that have 580s with water blocks and the HydroCopper bios. Maybe it allows for 1.2v? There has to be something different. Lol.

I think the EK FC-6970 Acetal is gonna tarnish and you best get the 6970 Acetal+Nickel or Nickel+Plexi

blackbalt89 ill do some research and find out more about it. 8ight, i have edited OP i had the wrong block linked. I have been looking for some reviews to see if the swftech block is any good, while i haven't found any lol, from what i can tell its better than the cooler they had on the 480...

time will tell. im sure the EK blook will be just as good if not better, i base this on the threads that all rate the EK blocks. lol
