Antec 902 Questions

Thread Starter
I currently own a HAF 932, but I've lost both side panels, had poor attempts to paint it, and now have a dust collecting, overly huge case that looks ugly and has zero ventilation.

I'm looking to move to a smaller, cheaper mid tower case.

I've just seen a video review for the Antec 902, and I have a few questions:

How large is it? Smaller than my HAF?

How heavy is it, since it's steel, not aluminum?

Is there enough space to fit my sig rig(especially my gpu)?

Best Buy seems to be selling it for around $90 shipped. Is there any other cases that would suit my needs for cheaper?

What happened to your HAF 932 =

How about a HAF 912? It'll fit your system easily and is smaller.

I guess it kinda heavy but im 15 and are you really weak nerd? Don't be a wimp. I think it can fit any graphic card on the market besides the 5970 which you have push the front cage out alittle. Its a nice case but its old and reading around the forums, lots of people say there are better choices these days. I've heard recommendations for this one alot

I tried to paint it, but that turned out horribly. And then I lost the side panels when I moved to college. And now it's just too big and messed up to be worth my while. A waste of $150

How large is it? Smaller than my HAF? I have never had hands on with any of the HAF series, but the Antec is not a large case. Its definatly a mid sized tower.

How heavy is it, since it's steel, not aluminum? It was not heavy for me at all...but each person perceives weight differently

Is there enough space to fit my sig rig(especially my gpu)? I would say yes, I had the following installed in mine.
i7 950
Asus P6X58D-E
CoolerMaster Hyper 212+
6870's in crossfireX

Best Buy seems to be selling it for around $90 shipped. Is there any other cases that would suit my needs for cheaper? In all honesty Im sure there are quite a few cases on the same level as the 902. I still have mine sitting here collecting dust trying to figure out what to do with it.

What's so messed up about it in your mind?

That would be my suggestion....quite alot of room for a mid-tower and definitely plenty of room for fans/radiators or whatever your cooling interests are.

I just feel like the paint job didn't come out the way I wanted it to/I should have just painted it black or something. I'm missing the panels, most of the fans are lost/have no where to mount them due to missing screws. It's just a failed project in my mind.

I'm sure it's still worth ~50 bucks if I could sell it to someone, but I'm in a dorm and I don't know anyone who'd want it. I think I'll just throw it in my parents basement.

And that CM looks real nice, I just don't like the idea of spending $100 for a case when I've already spent $150 on something that didn't work. I don't have a lot of money being a college student and all.

I'm kinda thinking just sell my sig rig and get a laptop + extra cash.

I have a fan controller controlling 4 of the seven and with them turned down to ½ speed, they're noticable, but not annoying. If I'm gaming, I turn them ALL the way up and I can hear them from about 25ft away, in a quiet house. Check THIS out!

That's exactly the case that I have...basically the same thing, just not as many little perks!
