Need help with a budget gaming build.

My friend is envious of my computer and wants his own. Me being the friend I am, I want him to get better parts than I did for the same price I paid.

His budget is 600.
He just mainly wants to play League of Legends and flash games on newgrounds and just non-graphic intense hardcore games.

I was thinking basing his build around an Athlon II X4 640 and an ATI 5670.

4 gb of fast ram, better than what I have if possible

Micro ATX board

a Mid tower case like my Rosewill Destroyer but anything else is fine. He would like a window on it if possible with LED fans, but just LED fans are fine too.

I was thinking a 450W power supply would be just fine to power it without it being overkill, modular too so he doesn't have a hard time with cable management.

as for HDD, I was thinking a 500GB or a 1TB F3 would do him justice as he also downloads movies and shows from time to time.

Any DVD burner is fine, Lite-on or Asus or sony?

he already has OS, mice, keyboard, monitor.

Thanks for the help :]

$600 budget can fit Phenom II, a better full ATX board, and a good case for the price, just fine.
Let me prove this with a suggestion:
Phenom II x4 955 + GA-870A-UD3 - $228
2x2GB Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3-1600 CL9 - $50, $40 AR (decent overclocker)
Gigabyte GTS 450 + Antec NEO ECO 520W - $164 after promo code PSUJAN2011, $139 AR
Rosewill Destroyer - $40 after promo code EMCKJHE29

- $55 shipped (Click "12 new from $53.99" to find the $55 shipped price)
Sony Optiarc DVD burner - $17 shipped (DVD burner doesn't really matter, just get the cheapest one that doesn't have bad reviews)

Total cost before rebates: well within at $554
After rebates: $519 AR

Plenty of spare cash, so you could fit the NZXT M59 for $50 if your nearby COMPUSA has one in stock or even at Newegg for $60 shipped, it comes with a window and LED fans, and has great look & features, just as he wishes. Another way to make use of the full $600 and get a board that can do CrossfireX if your friend wishes to upgrade, i.e. ASUS M4A79XTD EVO [buy.com]. If a modular power supply is really a necessity, there is an alternate combo deal for the Gigabyte GTS 450 + Antec Basiq BP 550 Plus Modular - $175, $165 AR, but it is more expensive.

Sorry if he has to get a better PC than you (going by the processor) but hey, you can do amazing things with just $600
