Stick with 570 or get 560? Slight buyers remorse. Hold me.

Thread Starter
I just recently got a 570 before the 560's hit and can still return it. I'm strongly considering it with the new 560 reviews popping up. . . giving me slight buyers remorse, lol. I recently switched from ATI/AMD to nVidia and am loving every minute of it. . . but am wondering should I go with the 560 ti and overclock the piss out of it for price/performance or should I stick with the 570 for it's potential in lasting longer in terms of performance with newer titles and overclocking to 580 speeds.

Just wanna feel like I made a good purchase. Buyers remorse is of the devil!

I would stay with the 570.

You can do 3-way sli later with the 570.

Stick with the 570, whenever you buy anything tech, tomorrow something new will be out. Murphy's Law 101.

I understand what you're saying, but the 570 is better in some other ways. I'm sure minimum FPS is higher on any decent resolution and when you SLI them later on will be more powerful.

I am in the same situation and loving my 570! (also came from ATI/AMD recently)

Stay with the 570 dude. I'm downgrading my 580 to get a 570. It's the best price/performance card out of the current 5xx series imo.

I'd have to disagree there. . . the reviews I'm seeing show the 560 very closely in line with the 570. . . perhaps off by maybe only a few fps on average. It's just wild how a card that's 100 dollars cheaper is almost as good as the 570. That was my only thought. I'm not low on cash at all, but naturally I had to reassure myself I made the right choice.

Thanks for the quick replies tho, definitely lookin forward to picking up another 570 when they drop down some.

I am installing 2 GTX560's as I type. Will let you know my thoughts. I don't bench but I play a few games enough I can give you a comparison. I will try SLI and as a single card.
