how many FPS will I gain?

It it worth it?

Will it decrease the life of the card?

I personally run mine at 720/1476/1107 - excellent results for what you get, better minimums.

I have the exact same card.

One of my cards can't even break 620MHz on the core. Your mileage will vary, each card is different.

But will I see any FPS gains from doing this?

Is it worth it?

You will get better FPS depending on the game you play.

I got more FPS when playing Crysis with my GTX overclocked to 729/1458/1050,then on stock.

Overclock the S#!T out of your card.

Example:

626/1350/1053 = xxx in Vantage
720/1476/1107 = xxx in Vantage

Result: Not too big a boost. Not like going from 626 to 800 etc.

However, check this:

626/1350/1053 = 30's min FPS (BC2) @ 1920x1080
720/1476/1107 = 50's min FPS (BC2) @ 1920x1080

So that is what you have to gain.

* (BC2) is mix of medium/high settings.
